Instrument-grade propane delivers higher vapor pressure and improved solvent flow compared to straight n-butane, particularly in colder extraction conditions common with live material. Available in DOT-approved 108L (100 lb) and 450L (420 lb) cylinders with CGA555 valves and liquid-withdrawal diptubes for full emptying, propane is well suited for producing high-quality live resin, shatter, sauce and other premium hydrocarbon concentrates.
